Ace animation director and Ad film maker Narayan Shi
Recently checked out 'The Friend' an amazing, brilliant animation short film by Narayan Shi which he made for the CFSI in association with Vaibhav kumaresh. Narayan laments the fact that "Hardly any original work is being done in India. I am so surprised to see lots of talented individuals slog it out at sweatshops, because they have no better options."
Well let's hope for the talent out here that it gradually gets a chance to explore ideas.

The softimage launch at Mumbai had quite a few people attending and Siddharth Bolurker, who takes care of SoftImage at Real Image was all smiles." It's been a hectic week , flying from one city to the other " he said. "Thankfully softimage is fun and I dont mind doing the demo end number of times."

Even as we go online there is news that Kinfra Film and Video Park (KFVP)is close to finalizing an agreement with the Sheridan School of Animation based in Ontario, Canada. Await a detailed report next week and yes we will be interviewing the folks at Sheridan too. So watch out if you wanna know!
