MUMBAI: This month The History Channel (THC) brings viewers
close to Egypt.
Viewers will travel back in time into an era of grandeur,
deception and bloodshed and witness the rise and fall of one
of the earliest empires in the world - Egypt! The show airs
every Sunday at 10 pm.
2500 years before the reign of Julius Caesar-a span of time
longer than that which separates us from him-the ancient Egyptians
were deftly harnessing the power of engineering on an unprecedented
scale. Their ingenuity and manpower was already yielding the
world's first stone superstructures-one of which would stand
as the world's tallest building until the 19th century. The
History channel recreates these engineering marvels with the
help of advanced computer generated imaging in Egypt: Engineering
an Empire.
This is part of the Egypt special on The History Channel.
