MUMBAI: Disney-ABC ESPN Television, the Walt Disney Company Ltd’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) TV distribution arm has renewed its multi-year volume agreement with Greece’s public TV broadcaster ERT.

With the agreement, the volume and range of programming from Disney’s producer groups such as Disney Channel, The Walt Disney Studios and ABC Studios will increase in the territory. This new agreement builds on the success of previous Disney-ABC-ESPN Television content on ERT’s channels.

Included in the agreement is a selection of movies like Enchanted, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and There Will be Blood.

Younger viewers and families will also be able to view Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock, new seasons of Hannah Montana, and Playhouse Disney series including My Friends Tigger and Pooh. Selected titles will air in ERT’s daily Disney-branded timeslot.

The new live action drama selection includes further seasons of the ABC Studios series Desperate Housewives, Lost, Criminal Minds and Ghost Whisperer, established hits on ERT.
