MUMBAI: BPCL Lucky Litres, the customised promotion created by Cartoon Network for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to promote their Pure For Sure outlets across six cities, received a bronze at the recently held Promotion and Marketing Awards Of Asia 2004, in Australia.

The integrated promotion won the award in the category for 'Most Innovative Idea / Concept'.

This is the second time that an exclusively designed licensing campaign for a client by Cartoon Network has secured an award at the prestigious Promotion and Marketing Awards Of Asia. Last year, Cartoon Network's Bano Toon Star With Scooby-Doo And Max won an award in the category for 'Best Campaign Generating Brand Awareness And Trial'.

The award winning licensing campaign was developed to achieve Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited's objective of targeting the family as opposed to just the vehicle owner across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

The campaign was launched across six metros by BPCL in December 2003 and was supported on-air, on-line and on-ground. The promotion offered six lucky families a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Cartoon Network beach in Gold Coast, Australia.
