Playstation assigns India creative duties to TBWA

MUMBAI: TBWA has bagged the creative duties of Playstation, which currently has aggressive plans of expanding its brand presence in India.

Playstation is the video game console of the fifth generation that was first released by Sony Computer Entertainment in December 1994.

“We would like to replicate our global success in India fast and we found TBWA’s disruption based approach and its understanding of our target audience perfectly suited to our requirement here,” said Playstation country manager Atindriya Bose.

“This is a very challenging assignment for TBWA India. Playstation is a global icon today, with some very well regarded creative work to its credit. Our challenge is to disrupt the market with a quality of work that lives up to the global Playstation legacy, both in its creative impact as well as its effectiveness in the marketplace,” added TBWA\India COO West Madan Mohan.

TBWA India is a full service agency and its clients include companies like Standard Chartered Bank, Bajaj Allianz, adidas, Apple Computer, Pedigree, MAX, Michelin, National Geographic/ History Channel, Platinum Guild, Henkel, Malayala Manorama, Zandu, Samsonite, Nivea.
