MUMBAI: Jim Stengel, 53, is retiring as Procter & Gamble (P&G ) global marketing officer on 31 October.
Stengel will be succeeded by 48-year-old Marc Pritchard, who currently serves as president strategy productivity and growth at Procter & Gamble.
Pritchards position as global marketing officer will come into effect from 1 August.
Stengel, who joined Procter in 1983, has been heading the marketing team since 2001.
Pritchard joined Procter in 1982 and has worked in several capacities including marketing, advertising, finance and information technology.
