MUMBAI:
Media agency Carat, part of the Aegis Group, has bagged the global media account
of Kohler, a Wisconsin-based kitchen, bath and fine home furnishings company.
Carat will handle
the consumer and trade media buying and planning services for Kohler in the Americas,
Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The media agency
won the Kohler account after contesting a strong fight against Publicis Groupe's
Starcom and WPP Group's MindShare, headquartered at Chicago and New York respectively.
As
per industry sources, Kohler spends about $60 million annually.
