MQ Networks signs MoU with IndiaTales

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based media sales and marketing company MQ Networks (MQN) announced that it has signed an MoU with IndiaTales for providing exclusive solutions related to production, events, marketing, distribution, ad shoots and floats on an all-India basis. IndiaTales is engaged in the business of taking Indian folklore and culture to a global audience, including resident and non-resident Indians.

"IndiaTales' first production, Manikantan, an nimated movie on Lord Ayappa, is 60 percent complete. It has been create in eight different styles including 2D animation, 3D animation, Kerala Mural painting and animated Indian oil painting style," IndiaTales managing director Nalin Singh told indiantelevision.com.

Manikantan will have voiceovers in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. For the Malayalam version, dubbing has already commenced with Mohanlal, Sukumari and Ganesh among those who have lent their voices. For the other languages, Singh claims that many of the greats from each industry have signed on, but refused to divulge the names until dubbing actually commences. Names of prominent actors such as Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan for Hindi and Chiranjeevi for the Telugu version were being touted by industry sources.

Singh informed that he will take the Hindi version of Manikantan to international audiences and based on the reactions there, plans to redo 60 to 70 per cent of the movie to suit international tastes. Singh also claims that IndiaTales will be doing an international film for Hollywood with Hollywood actors, based on an Indian theme with a major portion of the film being shot in India.

"We have the expertise and the necessary infrastructure for production, programme acquisition, content creation, marketing and air time sales. We believe that we will add value to IndiaTales in all their proposed ventures," claims MQN MD MS Mahesh. "We have created a 10,000 square feet state-of-the-art studio facility with the best production pipeline christened 'Studio MQ' for content creation which will be going on stream by August end."

MQN, an integrated media and entertainment company, is focused on media sales, custom publishing, OOH media, television channel promotion, television content development and broadcasting.
