Times Now has best GRP during confidence vote

New Delhi: From cash-flashing MPs to heated debates, tension during voting and some comic relief, Tuesday’s (July 22) Trust Vote in Parliament had the makings of a true-blue Bollywood potboiler and not surprisingly, Indians were hooked to their television sets.

According to data from television viewership measurement agency Audience Map (aMap), gross viewership (whole day) on news channels went up with Lok Sabha TV garnering an impressive 1.2 Gross Rating Points (GRP). Interestingly, Lok Sabha TV’s viewership equalled CNN-IBN on Tuesday, July 22.
