Kung Fu legend and movie mega-star Jackie Chan is
all set to take the viewers of Discovery Channel on a wild, one-of-a-kind
tour to his birthplace in a programme called Jackie Chan's Hong
Kong.
The programme airs as part of Friday Spotlight on 19 September from
9 pm to 10 pm. It encores on 21 September from 6 pm to 7 pm and on
26 September from 11 am to 12 noon.
Although Hollywood is Jackie Chan's new hometown, he claims that Hong
Kong will always be his true love. Chan has kept close ties with Hong
Kong and he takes his viewers on an intensely personal tour that reveals
all the city's hidden secrets.
The martial arts guru jumps naturally into the breakneck pace of life
in Hong Kong, taking viewers on a whirlwind tour of the city's skyscrapers,
shops and temples that will engage hardcore Chan fans and simple travel
junkies alike.
From the Star Ferry that takes passengers across the Hong Kong Harbour
to Victoria's Peak to the Hollywood Road's antique shops that Jackie
prefers today - Jackie Chan's Hong Kong is a trip worth taking. |
