| MUMBAI: This fantastic Formula One season heads into
its penultimate weekend as the circus crosses the Atlantic for the
US Grand Prix in Indianapolis. The 2003 championship will be aired
Live on Star Sports at 10.30 pm on 28 September.
Fans are in for a treat at the famous Brickyard as the drivers'
championship is still up for grabs between three drivers. World
champion Michael Schumacher of Ferrari still clings on to the points
lead on 82. Juan Pablo Montoya of Colombia is hot on his tail on
79 and Kimi Räikkönen of McLaren is on 75.
There hasn't been a race this competitive for years. Schumacher
had spent most of the past two months seeing his lead being gradually
eroded by the other two contenders as Ferrari went without a race
win for five races. But he arrested that slide just in time at the
last race, Ferrari's home Italian GP at Imola.
Last year's race here was a Ferrari one-two with Barrichello first
and Schumacher second. David Coulthard of McLaren was third. It
should be another great race this week and with the finish line
of the season in sight there is added importance to every driver
decision, every technical problem and every slow pit stop.
