Ushering in a season of revelry on The History Channel is December's
special offering called History Rocks, which will be a foot
tapping account of rock legends and jazz heroes that started 5 December.
Stars like Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger and Carlos Santana will be featured
on the channel. History Rocks will air every Sunday from
8 pm onwards.
"History needs to be taken out of the textbooks and made more
attractive to viewers. History is not only about wars and politics.
Its about lives around us - about fashion, about lifestyle, about
movies, about music," said The History Channel senior VP, content
and communication Dilshad Master. "History Rocks gives viewers
a chance to be up, close and personal with the greatest music legends
who we love, adore and revere."
